A version of Indev 0.31 was released on January 7, 2010, at 18:51 UTC[1], which added level themes. It was announced on TWoN at 18:52 UTC[2][3]

  • Level theme (normal, hell).
    • Normal: The default map theme. The map's contents are based off the level type option. The weather is partly cloudy and trees generate.
    • Hell: Features significantly less lighting during the day. All surface water is replaced with lava. Mushrooms are abundant on the surface. Surrounding water also becomes lava.

  • Deep floating maps now have layers of islands.
  • Flowers no longer generate naturally.
  • Fog is now darker in darker areas.[4]
  • Mipmapping is now enabled.[5]

Bugs

2 bugs reported

  • Water texture is glitched by mipmapping.[6]
  • Looking at Trees and looking down on islands drop performance.[7]
