14w34d is the fifty-second and final snapshot for Java Edition 1.8, released on August 20, 2014,[1] which fixes some bugs and crashes from 14w34a, 14w34b, and 14w34c. It was announced that it would likely be the last snapshot before the Java Edition 1.8 pre-release.[2] This is also the final snapshot released in 2014.

- MC-2292 – OS X: Ctrl modifier key instead of ⌘ Cmd.
- MC-2713 – Occasionally players can't hit entities with anything.
- MC-3716 – Ender pearls and beds bug.
- MC-4329 – Parts of enchanted leather armor, when held, don't shimmer.
