A special pre-release version of Alpha v1.2.0 was privately given to PC Gamer and IndieGames.com.[1] Multiple differences between this preview and the officially-released Alpha v1.2.0 can be seen in the released footage. This is the first and only preview released in 2010.
Differences from Alpha v1.2.0 preview
- Referred to as the Slip.[2]
- Has the original blood texture, instead of the slime/decay.[3]
- Runs around making pig noises, and makes zombie noises when hurt.
- Don't have their arms up like a zombie, and they are not wielding a golden sword either.
- Drops itself instead of glowstone dust.
- Emits light level of 15
- Does not have any sound effects.
