This article documents an April Fools' Day joke.

This feature was exclusively part of a joke version and is not currently planned for addition to regular Minecraft.

The mine crafter is a block introduced in 25w14craftmine. It resembles a sculk shrieker, as it has the same model with a different texture.

Obtaining

The mine crafter is unobtainable, however it generates at the center of the hub upon creating a world.

Usage

The mine crafter can be used to craft any mine the player wishes with new items that affect what mine is generated. Upon interacting, a modified crafting table screen will appear. Placing mine ingredients in slots on the mine crafter screen will alter what the mine crafter generates.

Experience earned by the player can be added to the mine crafter in increments of 20 by pressing the button at the top right of the mine crafter screen (labeled "DONATE"). Each level increases the number of predetermined mine ingredients and optional mine ingredients slots. Level 48 adds the 50th slot, and further levels have no effect. At this point, 16 ingredients are predetermined.

Holding down space or enter after pressing the button can be used to rapidly add experience.

Mine ingredients that have not been discovered yet are listed on the "Undiscovered" section (on the right side), and each has their own hint on how to unlock them.

Issues

Issues relating to "Mine Crafter" are not maintained on the bug tracker because it is an April Fools' joke, and is therefore not in the newest stable version or snapshot. Issues reported there are closed as "Invalid".

Trivia

Interacting with the mine crafter with any undiscovered mine effect also unlocks the specific effect.
Any non-active ingredient can be transferred into players' offhand by pressing the swap offhand keybind, or dropped onto the ground.
The order of the ingredients in the Undiscovered section is randomized each time the GUI is opened.
The swirling portion of the regular sculk shrieker texture rotates clockwise; however, those of the mine crafter and mine revisitor rotate counterclockwise. The rotating portions of these blocks' textures also rotate more slowly compared to the sculk shrieker.
