A floatato is a block that generates in cloud formations and is used to craft floataters in 24w14potato.
Obtaining
Breaking
A floatato can be broken using anything, but a hoe is the fastest. Floatatoes always drop as an item.

Natural generation
Floatatos naturally generate in clouds in the Potato dimension; these generate in any biome, around Y-level 110, hovering over the void. Potato clouds never generate underground and they very rarely touch terrain. A potato cloud has on average around 60 floatato blocks.
Usage
Placing
Feature unique to floatatoes is that they can be placed 2 blocks away from the player midair, without looking at another block.

Issues
Issues relating to "Floatato" are not maintained on the bug tracker because it is an April Fools' joke, and is therefore not in the newest stable version or snapshot. Issues reported there are closed as "Invalid".
