A potato geode is a potato variant of an amethyst geode, added in 24w14potato.
Generation
Potato geodes generate frequently underground both in the Overworld and in the Potato dimension.
Structure
Comparing to amethyst geodes:
- The outer layer of smooth basalt is replaced with cobblestone.
- The middle layer of calcite is replaced with granite.
- The inner layer of blocks of amethyst is replaced with terre de pomme.
- The budding amethyst blocks are replaced with poisonous potato blocks.

Issues
Issues relating to "Potato Geode" are not maintained on the bug tracker because it is an April Fools' joke, and is therefore not in the newest stable version or snapshot. Issues reported there are closed as "Invalid".
