The smiling creeper was a passive mob present in the April Fool's Love and Hugs Update, and is a variant of the creeper.
Spawn
All creepers in snapshot 15w14a are replaced by smiling creepers.
Behavior
Smiling creepers behave like normal creepers, except that the explosion of a smiling creeper does not break blocks or cause damage. Instead, the smiling creeper drops 2-4 poppies that the player can not pick up.
