v0.15.9 alpha is a minor update to Pocket Edition, Gear VR Edition, and the Windows 10 Edition Beta released on September 22-23, 2016 that adds capes and a new Skin pack, as well as fixes bugs and crashes in v0.15.8.[1]

Skin packs
- Version exclusive: MINECON 2016 Skin Pack, available for a limited time.
- The MINECON cape skins can be worn by anyone with the MINECON skin pack, even if they did not go to MINECON.
- As of October 7th, 2016, the limited time offer for the skin pack is over, it has been removed from all app stores, and its redemption code is now expired. Players who obtained it while it was available are still able to use it.
