Splitscreen

Splitscreen is a console-exclusive feature that allows up to four players to play on one screen at the same time. It is supported on console versions of Bedrock Edition on local connections and Realms. External servers, including the featured servers, do not.
Using Splitscreen requires a screen with an output of at least 720p or higher. On television screens, this can be achieved using either an HDMI or RGB component cable.
Gameplay

A player can join a running game in splitscreen by connecting another controller and pressing

. The new player is then prompted to select a user profile in which their progress is saved.
If "Multiplayer Game" is enabled in the world settings of the current world, active Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch Online, or PlayStation Plus subscriptions for each user profile are required to join the game.
