In Bedrock, Legacy Console, and New Nintendo 3DS editions, a texture pack is a type of downloadable content that can be bought from the Marketplace (or the platform's storefront in Legacy Console Edition) which customizes the appearance of the game by replacing the default textures.

In addition to separately available texture packs, mash-up packs come bundled with texture packs as well.

Halloween Texture Pack

A free Halloween-themed texture pack was released for Legacy Console Edition for a limited time in 2013 and 2014. It was first available on Xbox 360 Edition from October 25, 2013 to November 3, 2013;[2][3] it was then re-released for a limited time on Xbox 360 Edition and Xbox One Edition starting from October 29, 2014,[4] on PlayStation 3 Edition in North America starting from October 31, 2014,[5] and on PlayStation 3 Edition, PlayStation 4 Edition, and PlayStation Vita Edition worldwide starting from November 20, 2014.[6] This texture pack was later used as the basis for the Halloween Mash-Up Pack, albeit with some changes.
