Can have captains

Basement is an unused optional sub dungeon that would have been within the mission Gale Sanctum.

Appearance and description

Basement does not have an entrance door that leads to it from Gale Sanctum. Basement itself is a small labyrinth of rooms with shelves, wooden crates, grates on the ground, cobwebs, hay bales, hanging lanterns, and glowing lights with the Redstone Monstrosity symbol on them. The door meant for this sub dungeon's door alcove does not appear in-game, despite having its basement_out objectgroup ID in the code.

Objectives location

Main article: MCD:Objective

While Basement cannot be found during any Gale Sanctum objectives, as it is unused, its files suggest that it would have been found during the following Gale Sanctum objective: "GALE SANCTUM: EXPLORE THE SANCTUM".

Trivia

  • Because Basement can have several captains, it being unused is the reason why Gale Sanctum never has all six raid captains, as the majority of the mission's captains would have been found here.
