A rune room is a type of optional sub dungeon that contains a rune for the hero to collect.
Appearance and description
Rune rooms consist of a narrow rampart over a purple void that leads to a tower with a rune symbol. If the button infront of the tower is pressed, that rune room's respective rune will be summon above the pit, and several towers will rise up in the background. The exception to this is the rune in Great Hall, which is given upon pressing the button at the back of the hallway. All of the runes collected in order spell out the phrase “Bovine Path". The runes collected from rune rooms are used to unlock the entrance door of Moo Room within Great Hall, an area containing the scroll to unlock the secret mission ???.
