The mod is an exclusive item in China Edition.
Obtaining
This item cannot be obtained using the /give; it can only be obtained through another method by modifying the NBT data.
Usage
In older versions
In the early versions of China Edition, where custom items were not yet available, addons were created by modifying the "mod" data values to define items, which crudely enabled custom items through a brute-force approach.
The item used the old apple texture, could not be eaten, and didn't have a translated name (instead being displayed as "item.mod.name").

Features
Main
- The "mod" ID, which replaced the ID from Education Edition.
- In the normal version of China Edition, even with add-ons for obtaining items already installed, it is not possible to input the ID to retrieve the item. However, the item still exists in the game.
- In China Edition versions below 1.17, holding an item would allow you to see the entire item GUI.
