A torch is a common decoration block that provides light. It can also be used as a melee weapon as demonstrated by Jesse against zombies in Jailhouse Block.
History
Many torches are seen throughout the games, primarily used for decoration or as handheld light sources.
In Jailhouse Block, Jesse removes a torch in a wall and used it as a weapon against zombies in the zombie mines of Sunshine Institute.
Properties
A torch emits light at a useful intensity.
A torch can be used as a weapon, capable of killing a zombie in five hits.
