Super TNT was a powerful explosive invented by Soren.
History
Magnus and Ellegaard claims that Soren has a powerful TNT, the super TNT also known as the formidi-bomb. After locating Soren and convincing him to help resolve the situation, it's revealed that Super TNT was merely an ingredient to create the formidi-bomb.
In the process of crafting the formidi-bomb when confronting the wither storm, Jesse was pulled into the tractor beam along with the ingredients and the crafting table. While suspended, he/she crafted the bomb. As the bomb floats towards one of the heads, he/she was held by the group using a fishing rod. The bomb subsequently detonated, seemingly destroying the wither.
Properties
Its specific level of explosive power compared to regular TNT is unknown, however, it is stated to be immensely powerful but weaker than the formidi-bomb. It is highly unstable, putting it near gunpowder will cause it to explode.
Usage
According to Soren, attempting to craft the Formidi-Bomb is very dangerous, as the ingredients are highly unstable when put together.

Trivia
- It was believed that super TNT was an alias for the formidi-bomb, until Soren revealed that they are two different things.
- Soren mentioned that the super TNT was one of his uncraftable "impossible items". It is possible he obtained it using the command block, due to it barring a noticeable resemblance to its pattern and palette.
