A spawn egg is a type of egg that can spawn mobs other than chickens. They were fundamental in the construction of Sky City because of the resources dropped from the spawned mobs. They are also used for the destruction of the city in the end of Order Up!.
History
Sky City was established using resources obtained from the Eversource. Isa became the city’s Founder and leader, overseeing its development and maintaining strict regulations to preserve its stability.
After getting to the basement of the city's palace, Jesse, Lukas, Ivor, Petra, and Milo discover columns of double chests, each labeled with the name of a creature. One of them opens a chest and retrieves an item, only to be confused that it is an egg, despite the chest being labeled "sheep." Petra suggests throwing the egg, which, when thrown, hatches into a sheep. The group then realized that the city was constructed using resources obtained from mobs spawned by these eggs.
As they continue their investigation, they discover the Eversource, an eversource chicken named Benedict, whose eggs serve as the source of the city's materials. Shortly after, Isa and the Blaze Rods arrived to apprehend Jesse and the others. During the confrontation, Aiden obtains a creeper spawn egg and threw it at Isa, causing her to fall from the city from the mob's explosion. Following the fall of Isa, Jesse, and determinately Lukas, Sky City is overrun by ghasts, creepers, zombies, and skeletons that emerged from the spawn eggs, which left the city in chaos.
Properties
The spawn eggs are able to spawn their corresponding mob when it cracks after being thrown.

- A texture of the enderman spawn egg can be found in the game's files. It has never been shown in any cutscene.
