The old farmer man is a minor character from Minecraft Story Mode and a resident of Redstonia. He is voiced by Matthew Mercer.

Biography
The old farmer man determinantly appears in Assembly Required if Jesse decides to seek out Ellegaard.
He sought out to become Ellegard's protégé by inventing a TNT cannon, though ultimately wouldn't receive the title. If Jesse talks to him he will grant them redstone dust which can be used to craft a redstone repeater in the episode. The old farmer man has a hard time hearing, possibly due to his constant work with explosions.
Jesse is given the option to activate the TNT cannon, though it ultimately fails to deliver the TNT anywhere. If this happens, old farmer man doesn't seem to understand what has occurred and instead yells at Olivia, seeming to believe she exclaimed a profanity.
He attended the establishment of the New Order of the Stone at the end of A Block and a Hard Place.
