The Chief is the unseen protagonist and alleged author of Minecraft: The Survivors' Book of Secrets.
Personality
A wise soul, the Chief is incredibly knowledgeable on the lore and dangers of the Minecraft universe. Throughout the book, they show a great amount of experience, describing complex strategies, defense systems, and even adventures in other dimensions. As such, they show much pride towards their continued survival, hoping to inspire a future hero to follow suit.
Biography
During Java Edition Alpha, the person who would become chief founded a group calling themselves the Survivors, an underground group of heroes who claim to have been around for many years. They exist to rebel against the threat of hostile mobs, up to at least the ender dragon, which they claim to have defeated and respawned many times.
Nearing the end of their career, the Chief would begin to write a record of their team and strategies, hoping it would eventually be found by the next generation of heroes. Hiding it inside of an unknown location, it would eventually be found by the reader, preserving their legacy.
