Sammy was a friend of Jack’s that died in the Sea Temple.
Appearance
Sammy had no official appearance. However, when asked about what she looked like, Eric Stirpe shared a picture of Angelica Teach from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.[1]
Personality

As a girl, Sammy was a masterful con artist, who looked down upon heroics. However, she was also incredibly talented, possessing the skill and heart needed to help defeat a "big bad villain." If she hadn't "[thought heroes] were all such dorks," she could very well have been an instant star.[2]
Biography
Sammy was born into a town of superheroes, with an academy dedicated to training future generations. She was considered a thief and a nuisance, but crossed paths with Jack, befriending him. As the town came under threat, she joined him, Nurm, and Vos on a quest to track down a villainous force, staying with them after the situation was resolved.[2]
While on an expedition in the sea temple, Sammy ended up in the room with two elder guardians, and ended up being killed.
Legacy
Upon Jack's return to the temple with Jesse, Nurm, and Petra, Jack immediately recognized her dropped pile of inventory.

2 - So I’ve talked about this in bits and pieces, but Jack’s backstory is that he was a scrappy wannabe hero in a town that was like a superhero story and a fantasy world blended into one - Taverns and quests and things but with more outlandish characters with gimmicks and things. This town had a big academy for heroes that was very tough to get into, and also a school for the sidekicks that weren’t good enough to be heroes or just didn’t want to be in the spotlight. That sidekick academy is where Jack and Vos met - Vos was a potions and enchantments expert who wanted to be on the sidekick track, and Jack was stuck as a “stick boy”, gathering the sticks to make swords and other equipment for the heroes. He really, really, wanted to be on the hero track, but he was just too impulsive and also didn’t have a “gimmick” like a lot of other heroes. He just.. wanted to help people. He finally gets his shot when a big bad villain comes to town who drains the power from heroes so only the sidekicks are left to save the day.
