Rob or Rob Boss[1] is a "guest" of the Sunshine Institute and character in Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2. He first appeared in Jailhouse Block and is voiced by Mark Barbolak.
Appearance
Rob has black hair, black eyebrows, a black mustache, a gray skin color, and an orange "guest" outfit.
Personality
Rob loves to "paint" and doesn't like it if someone doesn't like his work.
Biography
Rob, as he determinately explains to Jesse, was sent to the Sunshine Institute for throwing TNT at Romeo. As he has no dye to paint with in the Mush Room, the banner he's seen painting on is blank.

Trivia
- Rob is a reference to Robert Norman "Bob" Ross, being a painter with a similar hairstyle and name, including reference to Ross' well-known phrase "happy little trees" with similar dialogue in game. Eric Stirpe has mentioned the character's full name being "Rob Boss" in a few Tumblr posts, though it is never mentioned in-game.[2]

- ↑ "Ha, that was Grady Standard, one of our fight sequence/combat guys. Like Brick being a Morgan Freeman reference and Rob Boss being a Bob Ross reference, it’s not 100% my taste to have direct references to pop culture but Yuri Lowenthal’s delivery of the line as Radar was so freaking cute we had to keep it." – Stirpicus, September 22, 2017, Tumblr
