4 game-changing new features! is an animated short, made to promote and explain Minecraft Earth.

Summary

The video opens with a nitwit in a sky colored void, underneath the logo of the game, as a narrator announces that new features have come to the game. They begin by elaborating on adventure crystals, represented by the nitwit and a villager playing in a living room, with a cluckshroom. A hole emerges underneath the cluckshroom, and a skeleton pops up, trying and failing to grab the cluckshroom. The nitwit manifests a floating bow, which bonks the skeleton in the head with an arrow, as the narrator stresses to stay clear of hostile mobs.

The next section is about daily rewards, which the narrator explains give rubies and other valuables. A nitwit sits on a chest near a muddy pig, before a trophy falls on them. While the narrator explains seasonal challenges, confetti appears, as another trophy bonks the nitwit. They quickly move on to the journal, which is represented by an expansive warehouse of shelves of trophies and adventure crystals. The narrator promises the player the ability to look at a glow squid. The final feature discussed is shareable buildplates, represented by the villager sending the nitwit a buildplate in a gift box, which is then superimposed over the living room floor.
