The Minecraft Legends: Official Launch Trailer is the official launch trailer for Minecraft Legends.
Summary
The narrator questions about the difference between a story and a legend, while in a Horde of the Spore outpost full of llama-filled cages, a blaze runt passes its blaze rod between the bars of one of those cages, and startles at the sight of a guardian with their allies outside the base. While the narrator questions whether the difference is "the cruelty of its villains" or "the bravery of its heroes", the blaze runt orders all the runts in the base to attack the Hero before getting spat on by a llama. The scene then shifts to a gameplay footage of the same guardian defeating the outpost and freeing the caged llamas, before shifting back to cinematics in which a cobblestone golem cheers at the sight of the free llamas. Afterwards, the narrator questions whether the difference involves friendship or struggles. At the same time, in a jungle, the guardian meets a ranger riding a regal tiger, and they approach a Horde of the Hunt base with a pigmadillo walking next to a loading piglin launcher. The pigmadillo opens one of the barrels inside, which contains two mace runts who get startled at the sight of the pigmadillo, who holds a third mace runt to place it in the barrel and close the lid on the runts inside. The piglin launcher then launches the barrel, and the runts inside roll inside it. The scene then shifts to gameplay where the same barrel lands on the two heroes, causing knockback on the guardian's horse. The heroes then lead their allied mobs to destroy the portal, from which emerge a few mace runts who get hurled into the air after the portal's explosion.
The scene then shifts to cinematics during nighttime where the narrator questions about what can be remembered during despair. At the same time, a villager walks across a forest holding lapis, then gets saddened because of the piglin attack targeting their village, then happy at the sight of the two heroes who will fight back. The scene then shifts to gameplay where the heroes defeat the raid. While the narrator explains that legends are about hope, the villagers cheer after the end of the attack. The scene quickly shifts to cinematics with the lapis-holding villager trying to dodge blaze rods from a horde of piglins in the forest. An army of piglins of the Horde of the Bastion led by a portal guard rushes from the left while an army of the Horde of the Spore comes from the opposite side. Near the village fountain, a magus riding a big beak and a warrior riding a horse are summoned beside the two heroes, who get surrounded by the two piglin armies and a Horde of the Hunt army of runts in between.
