Meet a Minecrafter is a series on the Minecraft YouTube channel, where various people who have either gotten famous due to making content about Minecraft, or people who have done various things because of it. So far, there are 26 videos.[1]

October 10th, 2018[2] Dr Mick Donegan, Ian Clements[2] Meet Dr Mick Donegan, CEO of Special Effect. Special Effect is a UK charity, levelling the playing field for gamers with disabilities. They have created EyeMine, a Windows-based software that helps people with severe disabilities play Minecraft – people like Ian Clements.[2]
November 7th, 2018[3] Patricia Romea[3] Meet Patricia Romero – a teacher who used Minecraft in her own classroom in Mexico as part of ‘Coral Crafters’ – our project to help the world’s coral reefs! Patricia and her students were an integral part of Coral Crafters success. Here she talks about using Minecraft in the classroom and the Coral Crafters project.[3]
December 8th, 2018[4] Stephen Reid[4] Meet Stephen Reid, founder of Immersive Minds. Immersive Minds believe in education through innovative use of tech, and have collaborated with teachers to produce a Minecraft map called 'The Refugee Crisis'. This map is used in schools and allow students to experience war – specifically, the aspect of having to flee for safety from the perspective of a family in the UK. It's a Minecraft adventure map with an educational purpose, designed to teach people about the harsh reality of life for a refugee.[4]
January 23rd, 2019[5] Riku Kato[5] Riku Kato recreated a Japanese World Heritage Site called Battleship Island in a brilliant Minecraft map that you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xx8UhJKq1H8&pp=0gcJCR0AztywvtLA. So we took him to Nagasaki to visit the real Battleship Island![5]
March 11th, 2019[6] Cory Scheviak[6] Meet Minecraft developer Cory Scheviak! Originally from North Carolina, Cory created a Puerto Rico-inspired mod called Tropicraft, out of which came Love Tropics, a fundraiser generating thousands of dollars for the victims of Hurricane Maria. Cory now has his dream job at Mojang in Stockholm![6]
April 12th, 2019[7] Maiko Yamamoto, Hok[7] What do Beowulf, Bambi and the Terminator have in common? They all feature in "Mine", an experimental theatre show from Maiko Yamamoto and her son Hok which explores mother and son relationships through Minecraft![7]

June 18th, 2019[9] Josh Wulf, Prahlad[9] When Prahlad Wulf got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as an 8-year old, his father Josh wanted to find a way to support children and families living with it, as well as inform them on the challenges they face. Together, they came up with ‘Minecraft for Type 1 Diabetes’ , a Minecraft mod that gives kids the opportunity to experience how it is living with type 1 diabetes and teaches them the interaction of blood glucose, insulin, and carbs.
