A sunken skeleton is an aquatic skeleton variant that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons. Sunken skeletons wield crossbows and have two variants. The first variant holds a heavy crossbow and has red coral growing on one of their eyes and on their ribcage and legs. The second variant wields an elite power bow and has yellow corals covering their eye, ribs, and legs.
Lore
Somewhere in Coral Rise, a sunken skeleton approached a pufferfish and was poisoned while another looked on nearby in the distance.[1]

Behavior
Crossbow action
Like their land-based counterparts, they attack the hero via ranged with their weapons with the unique ability being it fires harpoons instead of arrows, allowing for smoother water movement.
