A firefly is a non-attackable ambient mob that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons. They glow and are only one pixel big, making them the smallest mob in the game.

Behavior

The behavior of fireflies mostly consists of just flying around near light since they were only made to improve the atmosphere of missions similar to mobs such as starfishes and vultures.

• In the sound files, fireflies are referred to internally by the name firefly.
