The Blaze Rods were a group of builders and adventurers who first appeared in episode Order Up! They consist of three of the former members of the Ocelots, led by Aiden.
History
The Blaze Rods first appear during the end of the New Order of the Stone's adventure at the temple in the jungle. After being mistaken by Jesse for their former group title, they insult the protagonists with there being an exchange of witty comebacks. During the conversation, Aiden is frustrated that they did not obtain the enchanted flint and steel, so he and the members threatened while using their swords to have it. Eventually, they decide otherwise and leave the main group alone.
Afterwards, Aiden encountered Lukas off-screen. Aiden felt emotionally hurt by Jesse's words during their brief interaction earlier. His opportunity of obtaining the enchanted flint and steel was now stolen and now he was filled with jealousy. His narcissism skyrocketed as he felt convinced that he should have been the hero instead of Jesse's gang after they saved the world from the witherstorm. Lukas retorts that Aiden became meaner after taking over the Blaze Rods, bossing Maya and Gill around.
Returning to the temple in the jungle, the Blaze Rods clambered inside and slyly picked up the enchanted flint and steel which was dropped by Jesse after being repelled by the blast of the ignition of the portal. Aiden states, with glee and sarcasm, praise to Jesse for being useful for once, highlight his faults in being easily tracked. The exchange of insults turned into a brawl, where the Blaze Rods distracted the New Order of the Stone long enough for Aiden to enter the portal then with his teammates following suit.
The Blaze Rods were arrested by Sky City guards at the end of Order Up!
