A spawn event, also known as a mob event, is a way to spawn entities under certain event conditions. Spawn events are used in commands such as /summon and /event.

minecraft:entity_spawned Entity has spawned. Some entities may change skin. If it is an ocelot or a cat, they may change age. If it is an ocelot, it may duplicate.
minecraft:entity_spawned_with_default_jockey[upcoming BE 1.21.100] Entity spawns with a skeleton rider. Note: Executes only when it's nighttime or underground.
minecraft:entity_spawned_with_biome_specific_jockey[upcoming BE 1.21.100] Entity spawns with a rider depending on the biome they're in. If executed in a swamp or mangrove swamp biome, entity has a bogged rider. If executed in a snowy biome, entity has a stray rider. If executed in The Nether, entity has a wither skeleton rider. Note: With the exception of The Nether, executes only when it's nighttime and not underground.
