"The Trails & Tales Event"Minecraft.net.

The Trails & Tales Event, referred to on Minecraft.net as the Trails & Tales Live Event; in the main menu as the Summer Event; and in the in-game chat as the Trails and Tales Theme Park, was an event server that opened on June 23, 2023 at 10am PST to last through the weekend until June 25, 2023 at 10pm PST.[2] The server contained attractions including multiple mini-games in three different themed sections.

Trails and Tales Theme Park

There were three different sections present in the theme park for players to venture in. Mini-games were one of the main attractions in the theme park. Multiple attractions were present in every section.

Cherry Grove

The Cherry Grove contained a cherry grove and some bamboo.

River Raft Racers

I hope you don't mind getting splashed! River racing can be intense at times!

River Raft Racers NPC

River Raft Racers was an attraction where players could compete in a race to try and finish the race as fast as possible by riding a bamboo raft[a] around the Cherry Grove river. Coins also appeared on the water to be collected. There was only one lap and players were given up to one minute and thirty seconds to complete the race.

  1. The "raft" was actually an oak boat that was made to look like a bamboo raft with the resource pack.

Biome Trail Maze

The Biome Trail Maze was a medium difficulty maze that was made to be like a cave system. The themes were the end, crimson forest, and deep dark biomes and the stronghold and ocean monument structures. Two hidden mobs could be found in the maze.

Cherry Tree Parkour

The Cherry Tree Parkour was a medium difficulty parkour course that went above and through the Cherry Grove section. It had two checkpoints.

Hot Air Balloon

The Hot Air Balloon was an attraction that took players up into the sky to view the whole park.

Raft cutout

The Raft cutout was a small structure of two rafts that was present next to the Cherry Tree Parkour which was available for players to take pictures. Walking up behind it changed the camera perspective to be in front of the cutout so players could take a picture of themselves.

Camel Canyon

The Camel Canyon was a land in the park that resembled a desert with an archaeological site.

Hop on one of our friendly camels for a fast-paced race around our desert track!

Desert Dash NPC

The Desert Dash was an attraction in which Camels were ridden by players to compete in a race to get the fastest time. Speed balloons appeared floating above the track. When a balloon was popped by punching it, Speed II was applied to the player's camel for three seconds. two minutes were given to complete two laps around the desert track.

Dig Site Duster NPC

The Dig Dite Duster was an attraction in which players utilized a brush on suspicious sand to uncover items to earn points.

Desert Town Parkour

The Desert Town Parkour was an easy difficulty parkour course that went above and through the Cacti Canyon land; specifically through the desert village with gift shops. It had some checkpoints.

Desert Cave Parkour

The Desert Cave Parkour was a medium difficulty parkour course that went beneath and through the Dig Site Duster attraction. It had two checkpoints.

Camel cutout

The Camel cutout was a small structure of two camels present in the desert village area for players to take pictures. Walking up behind it changed the camera perspective to be in front of the cutout so players could take pictures of themselves.

The Lost World

The Lost World was a park land themed around the sniffer in a lush environment.

Mob Head Mania NPC

The Mob Head Mania was an attraction in which there were four small areas that held one player each, Players had to memorize a note melody with mob sounds from a creeper, piglin, dragon, skeleton, and a zombie head, which started off with one note, but slowly had one note being added to the melody after each round. After the melody was played, the player must repeat the same melody by pressing the buttons on the note blocks. There were more than thirteen rounds.

Jungle Tree Parkour

The Jungle Tree Parkour was a medium difficulty parkour course that went above and through the sniffer exhibit, through the volcano with striders, and a fossil. It had two checkpoints.

Ancient Cave Parkour

The Ancient Cave Parkour was a hard difficulty parkour course that went around the sniffer exhibit. It had some checkpoints.

Sniffer cutout

The Sniffer cutout was a small structure of two sniffers present at the bottom of The Lost World land for players to take pictures. Walking up behind it changed the camera perspective to be in front of the cutout so players could take pictures of themselves.

Carousel of Tales

The Carousel of Tales was a carousel located in the central area where the three lands met. There were two sniffers and two camels that players could ride on anytime.

Minecart Madness

Minecart Madness NPC

The Minecart Madness was a rollercoaster next to the park entrance in a booth where players could ride in a custom modeled minecart around the edge of the map. The track occasionally broke off into a small pond of water with bubble columns from soul sand which then launched the minecart over obstacles. A hidden mob, the creeper, could also be found when passing through the desert pyramid.

Merch and Food NPCs

The Merch and Food shops were two different types of shops that could be found throughout the park and which were run by named NPCs from whom players could collect items. At Merch shops, NPCs sold items such as balloons, hats, and masks. At Food shops, NPCs sold items such as popsicles and ancient popcorn. These items were not saved in inventories upon players exiting the server.

Kinsley's shop

Kinsley's Merch shop, named Gift Shop! on a sign, was located across from the Minecart Madness attraction near the park entrance. Kinsley offered the following items:

  • Sniffer Balloon
  • Camel Balloon

Bella's shop

Bella's Food shop, named SELF SERVICE on a sign, was located between the Carousel of Tales and the Minecart Madness attraction near the park entrance. Bella offered the following items:

  • Ancient Popcorn
    • Speed
  • Sniffer Snout Popsicle
  • Candy Apple

Gideon's shop

Gideon's Food shop, named SELF SERVICE on a sign, was located between the Carousel of Tales and the Minecart Madness attraction near the park entrance. Gideon offered the following items:

  • Boba
  • Cactus Cola
    • Speed
  • Torchflower Tea
    • Night Vision

Jasper's shop

Jasper's Merch shop was located across from the Mob Head Mania attraction in The Lost World land. Jasper offered the following items:

  • Sniffer Mask
  • Sniffer Hat

Everett's shop

Everett's Food shop was located at the end of the small tunnel between the Mob Head Mania attraction and Jasper's shop. Everett offered the following items:

  • Popsicle
  • Torchflower Tea
    • Night Vision

Orson's shop

Orson's Merch shop, named PANDA TIME! on a sign, was located in the Cherry Grove land. The shop was made with bamboo and themed around pandas. Orson offered the following item:

  • Panda Mask

Rosalind's shop

Rosalind's Merch shop, named HATS ON HATS! on a sign, was located on the path near the River Raft Racers attraction. The shop was made with cherry wood. Rosalind offered the following item:

  • Flower Crown

Lila's shop

Lila's Merch shop was located in the desert village area of the Camel Canyon land of the park. Lila offered the following items:

  • Camel Mask
  • Camel Hat

Winston's shop

Winston's Food shop was located in the desert village area of the Camel Canyon land of the park. Winston offered the following items:

  • Ancient Popcorn
    • Speed
  • Cactus Cola
    • Speed

Secret hunt

Ten minature versions of mobs, referred to by the name Secret, were scattered around the park for players to find.

Rewards

The Cherry Wood Tee

Players obtained the Cherry Wood Tee Character Creator top item for joining the server.

Volcano rocks were found in the resource pack that included a model, texture, and a volcano erupting sound.
