Minecraft Festival is an upcoming in-person Minecraft convention, similar to MINECON, that is planned to be held in Orlando, Florida, USA, on a yet to be announced date. It was originally set to be held from September 25–27, 2020, but was postponed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic;[1][2][3] when (or if) the event will take place remains unknown.

Announcement

At MINECON Live 2019 on September 28, 2019, it was announced that Minecraft Festival would be held in Orlando, Florida, USA, through 25–27 September 2020.[4]

On March 5, 2020, it was announced that the festival has been postponed until late 2021, due to safety concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

On September 3, 2020, during the announcement of Minecraft Live 2020, it was announced that the festival has been postponed to a yet to be announced date in 2022.[2]

On January 3, 2022, a Mojang employee stated that Minecraft Festival would not take place in 2022.[3]

Location

Minecraft Festival will be held in the South Hall at the Orange County Convention Center, located at 9899 International Drive, Orlando, Florida, USA.[5]

You are welcome to visit all three days. You are welcome to visit on a chosen day.

There is a limit of 12 tickets per transaction. Attendees are able to purchase up to four Upgrade Package Tickets (Diamond and Gold) and eight tickets of any other type.[5]

Minecraft Festival tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.[5]

Cape

It was announced that those attending Minecraft Festival would receive an exclusive Minecraft Festival cape, compatible with both Java and Bedrock editions.[6] The cape design is unknown.
