Redstone is a fragile material appearing in A Minecraft Movie, used to power and operate various machines, similar to electricity.

Appearance

Redstone has been shown to originate within stone ores, emitting a bright glow from small red crystals. When processed, it turns into a dust, resembling a bright red glitter, placed in square patterns.

Properties

When activated by an object such as a lever, redstone dust can emit potent energies, allowing it to power various objects such as TNT. The material can be used in other ways, such as a power for a torch, and in the creation of powered rails.
