A hammer is a tool designed to deliver impact force to an object or a creature. It is also used in crafting, where after placing the ingredients, a hammer strike on the table causes the items to merge into a final product.

Appearance

Hammers resemble those used by blacksmiths, and are made of iron and consist of a short handle, and a flat head.

The hammers used by piglins resemble medieval war hammers, with a longer handle, and a bigger head.

Properties

Hammers are primarily used for crafting items on a crafting table, where they are struck against placed ingredients to create a final product. Besides being used for crafting, some hammers can also be used in combat, dealing blunt force damage.

Trivia

• The war hammers used by the piglins bear a noticeable resemblance to the great hammer from Minecraft Dungeons.
