Clemente Gunchie is a supporting character who appears in A Minecraft Movie. He is Marlene's ex-husband and one of Henry's teachers.
Appearance
Clemente has long hair and a full mustache. He is wearing a dark maroon sweater and a whistle around his neck. He also has a retro phone clipped to his pants.
Personality
According to Marlene, Clemente has no personality.
Although he teaches art, he views it primarily as a means to make money, according to notes found in one of his students' notebooks. Additionally, he shows no interest in Henry's drawing skills simply because he did not follow the assignment. Despite this, he attends Henry's jetpack launch, but flees the scene after it goes awry, indicating he does not care much for his responsibilities as a supervisor.
Biography
Twenty years ago, Clemente married Marlene. Despite having a problematic relationship across decades, the two held out hope of things improving, until Marlene chose to divorce.
Clemente is facing financial difficulties. He mentions that he reported only $4,000 on his previous year's tax return, is involved in several ongoing lawsuits, and has most of his money invested in a drone kiosk at a mall.
He is both a gym teacher and an art teacher in Chuglass High School, and the first teacher Henry has once he arrives in Chuglass. After Henry accidently destroys Chuggy the Chip, the mascot of Chuglass Potato Chips, Clemente runs away from his responsibilities.
When he learned that Marlene was now dating with the nitwit, he went to her office disbelieved, wanting to confront her. He was more stunned after hearing the nitwit talking about their relationship.
