In-game description

Piercing is a ranged weapon enchantment in Minecraft Dungeons.

Tiers

Tier Effect Cost
I Every 3rd arrow 1 Enchantment Point
II Every 2nd arrow 2 Enchantment Points
III Every arrow 3 Enchantment Points

Usage

Any ranged weapon enchanted with Piercing allows the shot arrow to pierce through mobs. The number of shots required for the piercing effect to activate decreases with each tier. At the maximum tier, every arrow shot pierces.

Arrows that have already pierced enemies can still trigger the Ricochet and Chain Reaction enchantments if they hit additional enemies. Once an arrow Richochets, it no longer Pierces. It's difficult to tell if the original arrow continues Piercing after it triggers a Chain Reaction, but the spawned arrows do not pierce. Also, arrows do not target mobs, like the original game's enchantment, Piercing.

Stacking

Piercing is not stackable, meaning it appears only in a single enchantment slot. This includes the gilded, unique, and regular enchantment slots.

Built-into

Piercing tier I is built-into the following weapons:
