Cool Down is an enchantment that can be found within the various armor of Minecraft Dungeons.

Tiers

Usage

The cool down enchantment decreases the cooldown time on artifacts. The duration decreases more with each tier, at the maximum tier artifact cooldowns are reduced by 38%.

Stacking

Cool Down is stackable, meaning it can appear in multiple enchantment slots on an item. If Cool Down appears in the gilded slot of an item, it never appears in the other three enchantment slots, although by rerolling the item's enchantments using the enchantsmith, Cool Down has the chance to appear even if it appears in the gilded slot.

When stacked it has a diminishing effect, meaning each extra Cool Down is less effective than the last.

Trivia

• The theoretical maximum cooldown would be 91.1% (Gilded Evocation Robe with built in Cool Down 3 and Cool Down 3 in all three enchantment slots), but actually it would be 84.1%.
