Leeching

Defeating a mob heals you a small portion of the mob's max health.

In-game description

Leeching is an enchantment that can be found within the various melee weapons of Minecraft Dungeons.

Tiers

Tier Effect Cost
I 5% of mob's max health 1 Enchantment Point
II 7% of mob's max health 2 Enchantment Points
III 9% of mob's max health 3 Enchantment Points

Usage

Any melee weapon enchanted with Leeching grants the player a small amount of health when defeating a mob using that weapon. The health restored is based on the mob's HP and may be used to determine its total HP. At the maximum tier, defeating a mob grants 9% of their maximum health as healing. The healing will not occur if the mob is killed through indirect damage sources, such as Swirling or Shockwave.

Stacking

Leeching is stackable, meaning it can appear in multiple enchantment slots on an item, although there are exceptions. If Leeching is the built-in unique enchantment of an item it will never be able to appear in the gilded slot or other enchantment slots by any means. If Leeching appears in the gilded slot of an item it will never appear in the other three enchantment slots, however by rerolling the item's enchantments using the enchantsmith, Leeching has the chance to appear even if it appears in the gilded slot.

When stacked it has a diminishing effect, meaning each extra Leeching will be approximately 25% less effective than the last.

Built-in Weapons

Leeching tier I is built-into the following weapons:

Mob

Enchanted mobs with the enchantment will gain a percent of the hero’s health with every attack.
