The Common Cape is a cape given to all players who use their Microsoft account to log into Bedrock Edition at any point from May 6, 2025 to May 5, 2026.^[1]

Appearance

The cape design is based on the grass block. A green semicircle with a darker gradient towards the center appears at the top of the cape, representing the grass. A brown base with silver dots represents the dirt.

Obtaining

Players who used their Microsoft account to log into Bedrock Edition on any platform during the distribution period to received this cape in both Bedrock Edition and Java Edition. A Microsoft account is required to obtain this cape, even on platforms where using one is not required to play the game.

History

Trivia

• This is the first cape (excluding the duplicate version of the Pan Cape) to be assigned a rarity other than Legendary.
