The Cobalt Cape is a cape that was given out to players who won competitions for the game Cobalt, which was developed in collaboration with Mojang.

Distribution

This cape was given to participants/winners of the Cobalt Workshop Challenge level-making competitions[1][2][3][4] and the Cobalt League tournaments in 2016.[5]

History

H1 2016The Cobalt League tournaments are held, with winners getting a cape.[5][note 1]
February 12-28, 2016The first Cobalt Workshop Challenge is held.[2] The winners are announced on March 3rd.[3]
March 3-20, 2016The second Cobalt Workshop Challenge is held.[3] The winners are announced on March 29th.[6]
March 24-April 10, 2016The third and final Cobalt Workshop Challenge is held.[4] The winners are announced on April 13th.[7]

  1. ↑ Little information about these tournaments is available publicly. The link from the tweet is now broken, but it was archived, showing that it redirected to a different website. This website still works, but many of the tournaments, all of which are listed as taking place in early 2016, are still marked as incomplete, suggesting that this website was abandoned before the tournament series finished. It is possible that the remaining tournaments were held on a more private platform.
