Steve's Secret Stash!, also called Steve's Shack,[1] is a location appearing in A Minecraft Movie, full of various artifacts and collectibles obtained by Steve across his many adventures.

Layout

In A Minecraft Movie Live Event, the building appears in a vaguely L-shape, made primarily of oak. The front appears similar from a glance, but with the windows removed and replaced with wooden boards. The sign and bush are also absent, replaced by a large garden and bench. Behind the garden are tall windows, unlike the ones typically seen on the building, with a large saw and hammer installed above. Indoors is a downsized recreation of the two notable rooms, with a suit of chainmail armor and furnaces to the left, the shelves of artifacts facing the door, and a crafting table between both. To the right are several more tables, and behind the building is a cherry tree.

In the film, the building is depicted in a similar layout to the live event's design, but with orange stained terracotta on the outside walls, a doorway leading to the forge, and multiple barrels and berry bushes near the entrance, along with two signs reading "Steve's Secret Stash!" and "Spiders everywhere!". The interior is slightly larger with more items like a set of golden armor next to the shelves, and a table for the librarian to work. The forge of the stash has multiple weapons on the wall, a stand of iron armor, and barrels of different ingots. Near the entrance, a diver's helmet is displayed, along with Steve's diamond armor.

The stash has multiple shelves on display in the main room. The shelf next to the golden armor has golden carrots, a lantern, potatoes, a spyglass, a turtle shell, and firework rockets on the first row. The second row has the boots of swiftness, a diamond helmet, potions, and multiple books. The third row has a jack-o-lantern, an ender pearl, a glistering melon slice, a golden apple, a leather helmet, and fire charges. The final row of the shelf has TNT.

The shelf on the far right corner of the room has a painting of Dennis, banner patterns, multiple golden apples, and a totem of undying. Next to the shelf is a wall of music discs, next to a jukebox.

History

After Steve shows the gang Midport Village, he took Garrett and Henry to his so-called secret stash in the village armory to show them his items they need to get to the woodland mansion. As Garrett investigates through the chests, he finds an ender pearl, and accidentally throws it, much to Steve's annoyance, stating that it was the last one he had.

Steve leads Garrett and Henry to the forge of the stash, where he teaches them on how to use the crafting table. Garrett then spilled iron ingots misaligned with the grid, creating the buck-chuckets. In response, Henry used a combination of Earthen and Overworld items to make the potato launcher, Steve amazed by the boy's creativity.

Steve introducing the crafting table

Hidden in Midport Village, this is where Steve keeps all the precious {items he’s gathered from years of adventuring—suits of armor, gold, iron, TNT, and more. It’s also where Steve keeps the all-important Crafting Table.
