Lapis is a resource used primarily to spawn units and build spawners that drops when piglins are killed.

Obtaining

Drops

All piglins drop lapis when they are killed.

Gathering

In Versus Mode, lapis is passively gathered when either a lapis flag has been built or when the second day begins. The passive gathering granted by lapis flags applies to only the respective team, while the passive gathering granted by the beginning of the second day applies to both teams.

Chests

Lapis has a chance to be obtained by opening village chests, allay chests, and piglin chests.

Capacity

A limited amount of lapis can be stored at one time, this amount can be increased by building the allay storage improvement, which increases the maximum lapis storage by 150 in the Campaign and 500 in Versus Mode.

Usage

Lapis is always used when spawning units at a spawner and all spawners cost lapis to build in Versus Mode.
