Iron

Iron is a metal found in the Overworld. It generates naturally as iron ore, which drops raw iron, which can then be smelted into iron ingots. The ingots can then be crafted into blocks, items, tools, and armor, making it a versatile material. Iron can often be found at high elevations (such as in mountains) and generates most abundantly at Y=18.
