A pet is a mob that can be summoned by certain artifacts or enchantments to fight alongside the hero. Some pets persist until death, and others disappear after a certain amount of time. Most pet-summoning artifacts have a cooldown period after the pet dies before it can be summoned again. Pets are affected by any auras or ally-affecting enchantments that the hero has. In the Arcade edition, there are various exclusive pets obtainable through collecting certain cards.
