Questions tagged [onboard]

Ubuntu's default onscreen keyboard since 7.10. The onboard tag should not be used to refer to onboard peripheral devices such as onboard RAM or onboard GPU.

onboard is a Python application which implements an on-screen keyboard that can be useful for tablet PC users, as well as for mobility impaired people (see its man page documentation).

On Ubuntu it can be installed by the command sudo apt-get install onboard. By previous command is installed a Python package called onboard (which is visible in the list provides by the command pip list).

It is possible to customize the pop-up keyboard by the GUI onboard-settings and by command line by the command gsettings.
