Crouton is a set of scripts which allows Ubuntu, Debian and Kali Linux systems to run in parallel to a Chrome OS system. Crouton works by using a chroot instead of dual-booting thus allowing a user to run two desktop environments at the same time: Chrome OS as well as the other environment of the user's choice.
