An air chopper is a piglin structure that blows away non-piglin mobs in Minecraft Legends.

Spawning

Air choppers can spawn on naturally spawned medium and higher tier piglin bases in quantities of one to two. Piglin bases upgraded to medium or large bases have a chance of spawning air choppers. They mostly appear near the Nether portals to keep the hero and their ally units away from it. Air choppers become a serious threat when they spawn at Horde of the Spore bases, as the hero and allied units can take fall damage due to the height of the plateau.

Behavior

Air choppers are controlled by spore medics and create large gusts of wind and nether spores, which deal heavy knockback to the hero and ally units within the gust blow. The Firsts are not affected by the knockback but do take damage from the spore gusts. Once on cooldown, the spore medic that controls it will harvest netherwart growing on the air chopper twice and the air chopper will consume the netherwart and will spin a large gust of wind and nether spores at non-piglin mobs. They only attack when the hero or any ally unit is near them. Piglins are not affected by the knockback and are healed by the spore gusts.
