Questions tagged [beta]

The beta release is a significant release in the development cycle; marking the end of 'alpha' dailies, with a specific snapshot release that is deemed "reasonably free of showstopper image build or installer bugs". A few days later dailies will resume, but please note this system is not yet stable, and off-topic on this site until finally released.

I like to run the development releases of Ubuntu (alpha, beta, whatever). Is there any reason why I shouldn't enable proposed updates for Ubuntu before Ubuntu is released as stable? Are proposed updates different after a stable Ubuntu release?
