I have been having issues my Sonys' WH-1000MX5 connects to my laptop (kubuntu 24.04). I disable my IPhone 15 pro bluetooth so it won't connect automatically.
When I have my Sony headset connect to my laptop directly. it uses the default profile and not the A2DP. A2DP is not avaiable at all.

And it did not work for me. I am hoping if anyone else were able to get A2DP profile connected using Sonys' headset.
