A recorded version of a written piece.

A recorded version of a written piece. Can have one or more people doing the voices. There may be sound effects. These files can be on CD or digital (previously they were on cassettes, known as "books on tape"). This allows you to "read" a book while doing an activity which prevents you from reading, like driving or walking. The original piece may be slightly edited for the audio version.
