A boss is the strongest type of mob that can be fought in Minecraft Legends. There are four bosses in total, one per piglin horde and a final boss. All bosses have unique names which signify their personality and the piglin horde they belong to and which they commanded. Three of the four bosses within the game are brought into battle by destroying all of the piglin bases which correspond to their horde. Once the three bosses are defeated the main and final boss The Great Hog appears and tries to corrupt the Well of Fate. Once all bosses are defeated, the piglins are all driven back to the Nether.
