Wither is an effect that can be found within the Flames of the Nether DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.
Appearance
Similar to the original game, the Wither effect causes the healthbar to turn into an image resembling a wither skeleton's skull texture. This visual effect only covers the health that will be lost to Wither.
Obtaining
- Mobs
Usage
When the hero is under the Wither effect, they get damage over time. However, unlike the Poison effect, the damage increases over time even more than 20 seconds, and heroes may take damage 2~3 times per second. Wither effect deals damage base on the percentage of the hero's max health. On Default I, the effect constantly deals 1.25% of the hero's max health amount of damage. That means a hero equipped with full-level armor can be easily killed by the lowest-level wither skeleton's wither effect damage.
Defense effect and armor's damage reduction cannot reduce the damage of Wither effect.
