Viability

For stats and more factual information on the fighter's bindings, see its main article.

Strengths

The fighter's bindings excel in speed and combos. Its incredible speed and combo length of four allows it to activate combo-triggered enchantments very frequently, it is also able to activate enchantments that trigger with a percent chance on mob hit much faster than other melee weapons.

Weaknesses

The fighter's bindings main weaknesses are its range and area, both are very short and small respectively. It is also one of the few weapons where it is not recommended to use Void Strike due to the enchantment not synergising well with faster weapons.

Enchantments

The following enchantments are recommended to be used when using the fighter's bindings:

  • Swirling - Due to the fighter's bindings short combo length of four, its great speed, and the lack of down time between the final attack in the combo and the first attack in the next combo, it is able to activate Swirling very frequently. Causing large amounts of indirect damage. Swirling also deals damage in an area of affect, which makes up for the fighter's bindings lack of natural area of affect damage.
  • Shockwave - Provides a bit of range to the fighter's bindings, which otherwise have very short range. It is also able to activate Shockwave very frequently, for the same reasons that it can activate Swirling frequently.
  • Stunning - Despite having a low activation threshold of 15%, Stunning can be activated frequently using fighter's bindings due to their great speed, keeping constantly attacked mobs in a near permanently stunned state.
  • Unchanting - Unchanting is a naturally great enchantment on all weapons if used when playing the highest difficulty levels, as enchanted mobs spawn very frequently.
  • Radiance - Despite usually being outclassed by the Leeching enchantment in terms of healing, Radiance is the superior option for the fighter's bindings as it does more healing. Radiance has a 20% chance to activate every time a mob is hit with the weapon, fighter's bindings great speed allows Radiance to activate extremely often, causing large amounts of healing.
  • Thundering with Lightning Focus - Thundering provides a great damage boost on fighter's bindings when paired with the Lightning Focus enchantment on an armor piece.
  • Sharpness, Critical Hit, Committed - These enchantments provide large damage boosts, and work well with most weapons.

Artifacts

The following artifacts are recommended to be used when using the fighter's bindings:

  • Death Cap Mushroom - The death cap mushroom is a must when using the fighter's bindings (and is recommended for most melee weapons), it greatly increases their already strong speed. At higher power levels, the effect durations lasts between 20-30 seconds.
